Cake "Napoleon" is very popular in our country and not only. And, undoubtedly, every housewife has her own proven recipe. Having tried a lot, I always return to this. It is prepared very simply, and the cake turns out very delicate, just melts in the mouth. This is a favorite cake in our family.

You will need:

eggs of chicken 5 pieces
butter cream 220 grams + 200 grams
flour 700 grams + 4 tablespoons
3/4 teaspoon salt
milk 1 liter
sugar 400 grams
vanillin 1 package
chocolate bitter (for decoration) 30 grams
coconut chips (for decoration) 30 grams

How to cook:

1. Sift flour. Add softened butter (220 g). Chop everything in pieces. It is more convenient for me to do this with my hands. Then the baby gets more homogeneous.

2. 1 egg and salt with a fork, add water as much as to get 250 ml.

3. Combine the flour with butter and a mixture of egg and water. Knead netoye, elastic dough. It should not stick to your hands. Cover the dough with a film or a towel and let it rest for about 30 minutes. It will become even more elastic.

4. Start rolling out a little thinly one at a time. On a rolled cake put a circular pattern, for example, the bottom of the baking dish. Cut. To prick with a fork. You can cut the tortillas and after baking. The dough is elastic, it can be rolled out without difficulty. Pruning is best done on bakery paper, so that the cake does not deform.

5. Bake at 200 degrees for about 4 minutes, until the cake turns slightly brown. While one cake is baked, roll out the other on paper. Thus, the process will be continuous. Baking cakes will take a maximum of 40 minutes.
Ready cakes lay on top of each other.

6. Cream preparation. 4 eggs to combine with sugar and flour (4 tablespoons).
Beat with a whisk until smooth.
Gradually add warm milk, well kneaded with a whisk. Cook the cream, stirring constantly, so as not to burn and no lumps are formed, on medium heat until thickened. Ready to remove from the heat, completely cool.

7. Mild butter (200 g) whip, gradually adding custard to it, continue to whisk until the whole cream is combined with the oil.

8. Cover the skin with a lot of cream. Each cake is well pressed with the hand to the previous one.

9. Decorate as desired. If this is not a birthday cake, then you can just sprinkle it with crumbs, breaking 1 cake. I sprinkled the edges with coconut shavings, and made the Christmas trees out of melted chocolate.
